Quick recap, 2 years ago I got in an accident. Neither of us was in the right so we parted ways. New fender and headlight got it close to right. Last fall someone hit me and paid me cash. After a new bumper and some other bits its close enough to new. For a 80,000 mile Mazda that lives in Detroit at least.

Well they all have also been drifted, 2 tracked, etc. and maybe because of that, crashed.

60 mile round trip to work and family across the state. Got a car I like driving though so its all good. I do like 20-25k a year so I feel you.

Painted a new tow hook, hole, cover and this is the base color. Pretty in depth paint for a cheap car.

I have around 500 miles on my Alltrack, with a planned 60+ additional miles today.

I bought it six days ago. If you really want to quietly put miles on your car, become a gig food delivery driver. That, and my job is a 30 mile round trip commute.

How do you like the paint match? I’ve heard Soul Red is a PITA to get right but not impossible for a good shop.

Related news: I just hit 34,000 in mine today after having it for 38 months so I’ve still got a ways to go towards 80,000!

This teenager panicked stopped for a yellow, way past the line, like actually in the middle of an intersection. But either way I hit his butt. He had like no damage and I didn’t want to involve my insurance (MI is expensive) .

Both my fender and bumper are from junkyard cars so they match well . Honestly the hood being so pitted/scratched is the only bad thing and really the only way to tell. Related to your related news, I’d get PPF, clear bra, whatever you want to call it if I was you.

If I knew how this paint acts over time I would have covered it up.
